Bryan Crismas

Mr. Crismas has over 30 years of experience in traditional martial arts.

Training & Qualifications
Began training in Shito-Ryu, Feb of 1982.  Tested for his Black belt in
1991, Tested for 2nd degree black belt 1995, and in 2002 tested for 3rd
degree black belt.

Started training, Apr of 1984 in Kobudo;  Bo, Eku-bo, Sai, Tonfa,
Nunchaku, and Kama.

Attended numerous seminars by Shihan Fumio Demura, Head Instructor
of Shito-Ryu Genbu-Kai

Trained in Toyama Ryu Batto Do with Sensei Nakamura, Sensei Ueki, and
Sensei Mochizuki.

Assistant Instructor at Main dojo, Pittsburg, KS. Have instructed at Head
dojo, in Santa Ana, CA. And at other dojo's including Louisburg, KS,
Joplin, MO, Ponoca City, OK, Valley Center, KS, Winona, MN, Sommerville,
NJ, and Newcastle, PA

Participated in the filming of Black Belt Magazine instructional video with
Shihan Fumio Demura, chief instructor and director of Japan Karate-Do
Genbu-Kai International. The video addition to Demura's video series is a
basic guide to Eku-Bo, an Okinawan weapon, and an instructional video
on kata and self-defense with the eku-bo.

Karate History  
Feb 1982    Started training at PSU under Randy Buchanan

Sept 1987   Started to teaching at Pittsburg, KS Dojo,
           While continuing to train for black belt.

April 1991   Received black belt in Shito-Ryu

May 1991    Became assistant instructor at Main dojo

April 1995   Received 2nd degree black belt in Shito-Ryu

Aug 2001    Instructor of PSU Karate Class

April 2001   Received black belt in Toyama Ryu Batto Do

April 2002   Received 3rd degree black belt in Shito-Ryu Genbu-Kai

Feb 2006    Received 2nd degree black belt in Toyama Ryu Batto Do

Feb 2008    Received 4th degree black belt in Shito-Ryu Genbu-Kai

Feb 2010    Inducted into Genbu Kai Hall of Fame

Feb 2011   Received 3rd and 4th degree black belt in Toyama Ryu Batto Do
